We welcome Dr Cora Mayer MB, BS (Hons), DRANZCOG, FRACGP, MPH&TM, FACTM. Cora has joined the Quit Centre team as our new GP Lead.
A practising GP, Cora graduated from Monash University in 1996 and worked in a variety of rural and remote settings during and after completion of her FRACGP. She completed her Master of Public Health and Tropical Medicine at James Cook University in 2007.
Cora has worked in her Melbourne-based practice for many years, and supervises GP registrars and medical students, as well as working in public hospital antenatal care. With special interests in women’s health and antenatal care, travel and tropical medicine and public health, Cora is passionate about cancer prevention and supporting GPs to help their patients with smoking and vaping cessation.
